only 'princess-in-training' from Bronx, NY - an outgoing former
beauty pageant contestant. She was selected from thousands
of entries across the country for this royal experience. You
can expect to see this "Beauty from the Bronx" battle
it out for a dance with the prince, a diamond tiara, and $50,000

July 2006 - Clarissa Santiago resigns as Vice President of
the Latina World pageant and launches her new modeling website
clarissa-santiago.net! Clarissa is also in the recording studio
working on her first ever music demo. When asked what made
her decide to leave pageantry behind and pursue a modeling
and musical career, Clarissa simply responded "It's my
turn!”. Clarissa looks to gain recognition as a songwriter
and is currently working with various producers to build her
musical resume. To highlight her bold career move, Clarissa

July 2005 - Clarissa Santiago receives the Director of the Year Award
for a second consecutive year. Clarissa has been the state
director of the Latina New York Pageant production since 2001.
A former beauty pageant contestant, Clarissa worked her way
up the ranks beginning as a volunteer for the Latina World
pageant, to Vice President of the international production.
